Justin Slep

President

Justin is a decorated United States Marine Corps combat veteran and nationally recognized leader in veteran's advocacy. Born and raised in Altoona, Pennsylvania, he graduated from Altoona Area High School in 2002 and enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps that same year. He served honorably for four years, including combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, and separated from service in 2006.

Justin holds a bachelor's degree in psychology with a Minor in Substance Abuse from Purdue University Global. His career in public service spans nearly two decades, marked by innovation, leadership, and a relentless commitment to improving the lives of Veterans and their families.

Julie grew up in an Air Force family, a proud Military Brat, and is now married to an Air Force Veteran. Her son is currently attending the U.S. Air Force Academy, continuing the family’s legacy of service. Through these experiences, Julie has gained a deep understanding of the unique challenges and dynamics military families face. She recognizes that while one person may wear the uniform, the entire family serves in their own way.

Driven by a profound commitment to supporting Veterans and their loved ones, Julie is passionate about helping them thrive beyond their service. Her extensive knowledge ensures that Veterans receive the full range of resources and support they need to successfully transition to civilian life.
