Horse Connections is Ground work with Horses involves non-mounted activities with horses, like grooming, leading, and basic training exercises, designed to build trust, confidence, and self-awareness. Beginners learn to communicate with the horse through exercises such as walking, stopping, and backing up, which helps them read the horse’s body language, develop respect for boundaries, and foster a strong, trusting relationship. These sessions are used in equine-assisted learning to reduce stress and promote emotional awareness.
